Fireworks? We Can Do That!

How do you coordinate a fireworks display timed perfectly with dessert at your wedding reception in the West Indies? We know how to do that. In May of last year, the team at Away Destination was hired by a couple in Manhattan to coordinate their wedding at Goldeneye in Oracabessa, Jamaica. The fireworks were only the beginning. What a challenge, but we planned a week of celebrating including a welcome party with fire-dancers and the local Jelly Man (thats the guy that sells the green coconuts that are served as giant cups with a big splash of Jamaican rum). Dinner guests enjoyed our favorite six piece island band and the party really began after dinner with a private concert with The KnowMads.

We know Jamaica well. Ashlie has been living and working in Jamaica for almost 20 years. She knows the island well (yes, she can drive on the left), and the locals know her. A destination wedding in the West Indies can be an amazing adventure. We have experience with properties throughout Jamaica; beach-side or resting high in the Blue Mountains. Let the adventure begin!
